WEST HAM have secured a pre-contract agreement with Borussia Monchengladbach star Havard Nordtveit.
The former Arsenal midfielder, 25, becomes a free agent at the end of the season when his Gladbach deal expires.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp was reportedly plotting a move for Nordtveit but the Hammers have beaten him to the punch.
A source told Here Is The City: "The deal is done, and has been put to bed - both parties are happy to have got it done and finalised, of course an injury could still scupper the deal as a pre-contract isn't medical dependent but everyone is delighted to have got him."

Not surprised that Moses & Song have that lazy attitude... you get the feeling that lots of players at the 'big' clubs are similarly afflicted which goes a long way to explain how shit they are.
From today's papers it looks as though Nordtveit is a done deal and an excellent one at that... a great utility player with loads of top level experience at the peak of his powers, and cheap as well!
What's not to like.

If we qualify for EL there will be more competitive games to play and having a strong team with an increased average quality of the players is what is required to improve and building a team that has chance to win.
Biliç has a good eye and can spot good players that can become better ones and that is not common among managers, moreover Nordtveit contract will expire in the summer and it is a rare chance of getting a player of this value on a free.

Sorry mate I don't see the difference? Lanzini was completely unknown to most, so no, it wasn't going to obviously be a permanent signing. We have an option to buy Emenike, are you sure that he will be here next season too?
As for Moses and Jenks signing new deals, that was to safeguard their value to their clubs more than anything else I feel. Song has another year left on his Barca deal and the way we structured the deal was to pay Barca a big fee to loan and they pay his wages, so it helped get around FFP wage limits, hence why we didn't just take over the remainder of his contract.

Lanzini was an option to purchase deal though, so always going to be a permanent signing.
Jankinson and Moses both extended their contracts, so both unlikely to be permanent. Song, who knows?

I'd say Lanzini has worked out very well and he definitely deserves to be in the starting eleven, wouldn't you agree P?
